Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website (salvigiovanni.com, "beyond", "we", "us") is operated by Giovanni Salvi, an independent consultant helping non-technical executives set up AI workflows. For any question about this policy or your data, contact btc@salvigiovanni.com.

2. What data we collect

This site has no sign-up, no forms, and no server-side database. We do not collect names, emails, or any personal data through the site itself. Data may reach us only if you choose to contact us directly:

  • Email — if you write to btc@salvigiovanni.com, we receive whatever you include in that message (e.g. your name, email address, and the content of your request).
  • Booking a call — the "Book a call" button opens Calendly (calendly.com) in a new tab. Calendly is a separate, third-party service that processes your name, email, and any details you enter directly, under its own privacy policy. We only see the booking details Calendly shares with us (e.g. your name, email, and the time you selected).

3. Analytics and tracking

We do not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site (no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar). We have no visibility into how individual visitors browse the page.

4. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies. It uses your browser's local storage — a small amount of data kept on your own device, never sent to our servers — for two strictly functional purposes:

  • beyond_lang — remembers your language preference (English/Italian) so you don't have to reselect it on your next visit.
  • beyond_cookie_ack — remembers that you've dismissed this cookie notice.

Neither is used for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and under EU guidance this kind of strictly necessary technical storage does not require prior consent. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings, and the site will keep working normally.

5. Third-party links

The site links out to external services — Calendly for bookings and LinkedIn for the author's profile. Once you follow one of those links, that service's own privacy policy applies. We recommend reviewing Calendly's privacy policy and LinkedIn's privacy policy.

6. Legal basis and retention

Where you contact us by email or book a call, we process the details you share on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, or to take steps ahead of entering into a contract with you. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to handle the enquiry or relationship, and delete it once it's no longer necessary.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right, under the GDPR, to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct or delete it;
  • Restrict or object to its processing;
  • Request a copy in a portable format;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email btc@salvigiovanni.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in how the site works. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest revision.
